Under the direction of the IT Manager, the Systems Administrator will provide full and timely support to all company employees with all technology systems. In addition, this role will maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and internal networks. This individual will need to diagnose and resolve problems quickly, as well as have the patience to communicate with a variety of employees at varying technical skill levels to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly. The Systems Administrator will also serve as backup to the IT Manager.
Responsibilities:Provide timely systems support of end user hardware and software, including account and workstation setup for new usersAdminister and maintain systems and network software and hardware according to requirements Test, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues and outages with all company systemsEnsure security through access restrictions, backups and firewallsResearch, plan and deploy new system hardware and software as needed, including upgrading systems with new releases and modelsDevelop expertise to train staff on new technologiesProperly maintain accurate and full inventory of all technical equipment, including an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:Minimum 3 years of experience in related IT fieldNetwork Engineering and Administration, including WiFi, DNS, VPN, Routers, and FirewallsWindows Desktop Engineering, imaging, deployment and management technologies Deep understanding of MS Office Desktop Application SupportPowershell, Office 365, Exchange Online, and GSuite AdministrationBackups, Continuity, and Disaster RecoveryExperience installing and upgrading Network Physical InfrastructureAbility to work cohesively across multiple departments within the organizationExcellent communication skills, including ability to answer technology questions from staff, managers and executives as needed Compensation/Benefits:Competitive compensation plan401 K matching program (4% at 100% match) vested after 90 days/1st day after next quarterEmployee Medical and Dental provided after 60 day probationary period
